E-Safety
Safe Access to the Internet
An E-Safety group in school has responsibility for ensuring provision of advice and guidance to the school community including staff, students and parents. Students are supported in school on e-safety matters through our PRS lessons and ICT curriculum, Stay Safe Days with external visitors, assemblies throughout the year and tutor activities. Information is highlighted to students through the tutor and pastoral system as well as on school noticeboards. Our staff are updated each year through INSET days as a part of our safeguarding training and CPD.
The school uses external sources of guidance to complete audits of e safety standards and regularly monitors and addresses each element. Collaboration with external standards bodies and other schools also helps to maintain standards and awareness. Governors are kept informed of this element of school vigilance.
